Why was my Hometown Project account automatically renewed?

Hometown Project services are purchased as subscriptions that are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis (depending on your selected billing preference) and renew automatically.

Hometown Project will process the form of payment on the account for each renewal term on the calendar day corresponding to the first day you subscribed to a paid subscription.

To avoid having your account automatically renewed, cancel it prior to your renewal date. You are eligible to cancel your account after your trial period is completed.

 

Refund policy

We don’t provide any refunds for fees related to Hometown Project accounts and add-ons. These are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis (depending on your selected billing preference).

We will, however, issue credits for any add-ons to downgraded monthly accounts, equivalent to the prorated prepaid fees of those add-ons on the date of the cancellation. These credits are non-refundable, but can be used against the purchase of any future Hometown Project services.

What is semi or annual billing?

Semi or annual billing is a one-year commitment allowing you to pay one discounted and non-refundable payment rather than monthly payments for Hometown Project plans.

Semi or annual plans can be downgraded or cancelled at any time. Downgraded plans will retain access to their plan features until the expiration of the commitment; cancelled plans will be closed immediately and no proration or partial refund will be applied.

Monthly billing is not a discounted rate but gives you the flexibility to modify your plan at any time.
